Meet The Management Team
Olusola Olowoyeye is a seasoned Chartered Accountant and a dynamic professional. Sola ‘s work experience has exposed him to various financial institutions, the oil and gas industry, consulting and areas of financial management and control, project finance and management, risk analysis and management, corporate governance consulting, financial analysis and various financial products.
Sola currently handles financial risk Management and has rolled risk management framework for financial services organisation as well as developed a corporate governance framework for financial institution in sub-Sahara Africa, which has been implemented enterprise-wide by most firms. He has worked with various institutions including KMMG (Audit & Risk Advisory), BGL Plc, Kedari Capital Limited, Sahara Energy Resources Limited & Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc (Financial & Investment)
Sola has M.sc in Finance as well as a degree in Insurance. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), International Academy of Business and Financial Management (CRATM) and the acclaimed institute of internal auditors (USA).
Temilola Achakobe is a graduate of Accounting from University of Lagos Akoka. She is also an alumnus of IESE Nevara Barcelona where she obtained her Masters’ in Business Administration.
She started her career as an audit trainee in Ernst and Young - Chartered Accountants in Lagos, where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1995. After spending 6 years with E & Y, she moved on to be the Chief Finance Officer for Ocean and Oil Holdings and later went on to be the Group Cash Manager for Oando Plc. She stayed in the Group for 4 years. Seeking better opportunities, she moved on to Sahara Group as the Head of Finance in its downstream business and later went on to become the Treasurer of the Group. Her experience in Sahara spanned the whole value chain of the Oil and Gas Industry – Upstream, Midstream and Downstream. She was instrumental in the start-up of Aviation Air and Land Services and together with the other team members, built AALSL to be the fourth highest revenue generating company in the Group.
She was also involved in raising finance for the power assets Sahara bided for and acquired. She was also involved in raising finance for the re-entry into an oil well for the upstream Company of the Group. She was in Sahara for a period of 8years after which she moved on to be one of the pioneer team members of Bond Global Energy with the responsibility of building a profitable world class Oil and Gas Company.
She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria, an ISO certified auditor and a Success Life Coach.
Head, Human Resources
Oluwaseyi Kehinde-Peters is a vibrant Human Resources Practitioner with over 12 years’ experience in talent acquisition, development and retention in telecommunications, financial, aviation, construction and real estate sectors as well as not-for-profit making organisations. She has consistently demonstrated a strong passion for and excellencies in enabling organizations win the war for talent whilst building sustainable HR systems and structures to achieve corporate objectives.
She holds a BSc in Accounting from the University of Lagos, as well as various certifications including Human Resource Management Professional (HRMP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and PRINCE 2.
Oluwaseyi currently functions as the Head Human Resources of LIB Insurance Brokers Limited before which she was HR Advisor for MTN Nigeria Communications Limited.
Oluwaseyi is a customer focused and technologically savvy professional, with extensive capacity for driving strategic and operational activities to achieve business objectives.
Adeola holds an LLB from the Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos, where she was the best graduating student and received the Justice Teslim Elias Prize for Jurisprudence. She is admitted to the Nigerian Bar and is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators UK and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK (MCIArb). She also holds a postgraduate degree (LLM) in commercial and corporate law from the University of London.
She was formerly at the commercial law firm of Babalakin& Co., where she headed the Corporate, Commercial and Compliance department of the firm. While at the firm, she supervised due diligence exercises, acted as transaction counsel to foreign companies desirous of investing in Nigeria, ensuring that such businesses comply with all relevant Nigerian laws and also rendered company secretarial services.
Adeola routinely drafts, reviews and negotiates the terms of loan agreement. She recently led her team on the USD 100million credit facility loan facility granted by an international bank to a foremost telecommunications company in Nigeria.
She now heads the legal department of LIB Insurance.
Risk Management and Control
Korede has over 8 years’ experience in Risk Management, Corporate Finance, Internal Audit, Business Development and Retail Banking. She currently heads the Risk Management & Control department for Betaplus. Prior to joining Betaplus, Capital, Korede worked at Whitehall Capital Partners, Zenith Bank, Mouka Limited and Themis Risk Advisory where she was actively involved in development and inplementation of Enterprise Risk Management framework for various organisations and she has sound knowledge of the finance, Oil and Gas and Manufacturing industry.
She graduated with a M.Sc. (Econ). Degree in Finance and Investment Management (Commendation) from University of Aberdeen and B.Sc (Hons). Banking & Finance (Second class upper). She has completed her investment Management Certificate exam (Issued by CFA UK) and she is in the final stage of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the United Kingdom (ACCA).
